The 25th Annual Festival of Trees will be held December 3 – 8, 2012.
However, there are numerous events leading up to the Festival.
Christmas in July – Kick-off Event
Festival of Trees is pleased to announce a new event Christmas in July on Saturday, July 28th from 12-4pm at Coosaw Point River Club located at 20 The Horseshoe, Beaufort, SC 29907. Christmas in July will be a family Fun day featuring:
* SNOW – Yes! Snow in July from 1-3pm
* Entertainment by The Groovetones and Drysdale Entertainment
* Swimming
* Water Slides, Jumpy House and Kids Games
* Unlimited BBQ Buffet by Palmetto Smokehouse
* Beer, Pepsi Soda Products and Water
* Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches & snacks provided by Hobbit Hills Preschools

Family Tickets are available for $75 each, Adult tickets are $25, Child tickets >2 are $12.50 and Children<2 are FREE.
For an additional charge the following will also be available:
* Photos with Santa from 12:30-2pm for $5.

* Absolute (Yes, the Vodka) Snow Cones will be available for $5

Opening Reception
As one of the Lowcountry’s premier holiday events, this event is so affordable at only $40.00 per person! The Opening Reception for the 25th Annual Festival of Trees is Monday, December 3, 2011 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM. This event traditionally serves as Beaufort’s kick-off to the holiday season, offering a silent auction, excellent food from local restaurants, beer and wine, live music from Beek Webb and Company and, most importantly, the unveiling of the Trees. The festival is held at the Charles Lynn Neighborhood Activity Center, 1001 Hamar Street.

Tuesday – Friday: 11am* until 7pm
Saturday: 10am until 4pm

Events During the Festival
Gift & Gourmet
Offers delicious baked goods, crafts, gift baskets, Christmas gifts, books, wreaths, jewelry and so much more!!! These donations are graciously given by area neighborhoods, churches and residents.
Lunches
Debbi Covington of Catering by Debbi Covington provides lunches for the festival. Come enjoy lunch with your friends and remember to come more than once, as the menu changes!
Trees for Sale
Our extravagantly decorated trees go on sale during the opening reception and are available for sale all week. Get tickets to the opening reception to ensure you get the widest variety of choices!
School & Group Visits
Every morning the festival offers groups to come view the trees or a discounted group rate. Santa is your tour guide! If you’re good, you may even get a candy cane!
Military Appreciation Day
Military Appreciation Day will be Wednesday, December 5th. Military servicemen and women, and their families, will receive FREE admission during this day. This is one small way we can thank our military community for all they do to serve our country.
Saturday Wrap-Up Events
Yoga Among the Trees from 8:30am until 9:45am
Join Shelley Lowther from Dancing Dogs Yoga for yoga among the beautifully decorated trees of the Festival of Trees benefitting Friends of Caroline Hospice on Saturday December 10th from 8:30am until 9:45am. Suggested minimum donation of $10 per person. All levels are welcome.
Brunch & Lunch with Shoofly from 10am until 2pm
Visit the Festival and enjoy brunch or lunch prepared by one of Beaufort’s best local spots using local, fresh and healthy ingredients.
Gift Wrap Galore 11am-3pm
Wrapping presents not your thing? Bring your gifts with you and have them wrapped by experienced giftwrappers while you visit the Festival. Most gifts are $2 per gift, although upcharges may apply for larger gifts.
Snowball Family Dance from 5pm until 7pm
Join us for this family-friendly event, where you’ll dance with Santa among the beautifully decorated trees. This event features:
- Musical Entertainment by Drysdale Entertainment
- Pictures with Santa by Susan Deloach Photography*
- Cookies for Santa cookie decorating, sponsored by Shoofly Kitchen
- Holiday Snacks and Refreshments, sponsored by Southern Sweets
The cost – $20 per family (2 adults, 3 children under 18) or $10 (single adult with 1 child) – includes music and entertainment, one digital family photograph with Santa Claus (e-mailed to you for countless copies), cookie decorating, snacks and refreshments.
*If you’d like, Susan will also be available for family Christmas card photos during the Ball for an additional fee.
