One of the Festival’s cherished traditions is the annual showcase of a beautiful handmade quilt. “Blooming Nine Patch” is the name of this year’s quilt. It is a queen size quilt sewn by the Bobbins of Beaufort. The Bobbins, a group of 12 women, met each week for almost 5 months to complete the lovely pattern. When asked why they decided to make the quilt this year, Barbara Rader replied, “We did this because Friends of Caroline Hospice is such a wonderful organization that is so helpful to the community.” Bingo cards for the quilt are $1 per card or $5 for 6 cards.
